Education runs on documents: transcripts, certificates, circulars, policies, syllabi. Most institutions can find one of them on a good day.

The situation

Documents and content were spread across drives, inboxes and cabinets. A student requesting a certificate meant a staff member searching, copying and sending, and the institution had no single place that showed which version of a policy or a syllabus was current.

What we built

A document and content management platform that stores, versions and controls access to institutional documents, and links them to the student record. Certificates and records can be issued from the system, and staff publish content from one place to the portal and the apps.

We build these on platforms such as SharePoint and Site Infinity where the institution already has a licence, and as custom applications where it does not.

What changed

Requests that depended on a person's memory now depend on a search. Students receive documents without visiting an office, and the institution has a record of who accessed what.
