Institutes Aggregation Platform
A platform that brings many institutes into one searchable place for students and parents.
Choosing where to study means visiting a dozen websites that were each designed to say the same things differently.
The situation
Students and parents compare institutes across scattered websites and brochures. Institutes, in turn, compete for attention on channels they do not control and cannot compare themselves on.
What we built
An aggregation framework that lets many institutes publish their programmes, facilities and admissions information in a common structure, and lets students search and compare across them. For the institutes it provides a shared front door. For students it replaces a dozen tabs.
The hard part is not the portal. It is agreeing what the common structure is, so that two institutes with different ways of describing a programme can be compared fairly. We spend much of the early work on that agreement.
Where it leads
A student who finds an institute through the platform can apply into its SIS, and the record that begins at discovery continues through enrolment and graduation.
