Alumni and Job Portals
Portals that keep graduates connected to their institution and connect them with employers.
The relationship between a student and an institution is supposed to be lifelong. In most systems it ends on graduation day.
The situation
Once a student graduates, their record usually goes to an archive and their connection to the institution goes quiet. Alumni networks run on spreadsheets and goodwill, and the job market sits in a different system altogether.
What we built
An alumni portal and job portals connected to the student record. Graduates keep a profile that belongs to them, find fellow alumni and stay in touch with the institution. Employers post openings and graduates apply, with the institution acting as the trusted bridge between the two.
This is the end of the SMAX journey, called Record, and it matters more than it looks. Lifelong learning, alumni engagement and career-oriented support are three of the gaps we hear institutions describe.
Why it belongs in the same ecosystem
An alumni portal built separately would need its own copy of the student record and would start to drift immediately. Built on the same record, it starts with accurate data and stays accurate.
