Connects toRetailer promotional flyers

Retail promotions live in flyers that nobody can search. We turned them into data.

The situation

Shoppers wait for flyers, scan them for the products they want and then compare outlets by hand. Retailers publish promotions in images. The goal was to scan a flyer, convert promotions into deal offers, extract text and data from the image, compare products across outlets and let the shopper order from a specific outlet.

What we built

A responsive site accessible across the country. Any registered user can upload a promotional flyer. Image-to-text conversion and data segregation turn the flyer into catalogue entries. Elasticsearch and AI/ML-based search patterns and product cataloguing power an easy search and a dependable catalogue.

A shopping cart applies store-specific discounts, and user profiling follows buying patterns to personalize what each shopper sees. Extensive analytics sit behind the platform.

The principle

Search is the interface. A shopper who types the product they want and sees local prices in a second has no need for any other navigation.
