An executive does not want a data warehouse. They want to open one page on a Monday and know whether the hospital is healthy.

The situation

A hospital information system holds everything an executive wants to know and presents none of it in a form they can use. Reports are requested, built by hand and out of date by the time they arrive. The people accountable for the institution are the furthest from its data.

What we built

Business intelligence reports built over the hospital's systems for the leadership and for clinical heads. We select the BI platform to suit the client, and our teams work across Qlik and Tableau as well as Power BI. The reports are designed from the reader's questions backward: what do I need to decide this week, and what would change my mind.

A CXO experience is a restraint exercise. The temptation is to show everything the system can measure. The better product shows a few measures well and lets the reader go deeper only when they choose to.

How it fits

Because the reporting sits on the same record as the patient and clinical experiences, a number on an executive's screen can be traced to the entry that produced it. That traceability is what makes leadership trust a dashboard.
